OUR AIM

Our aim is to give a little bit of hope to underprivileged children in the Philippines and reduce the day to day pressures. Our ethos is supportive rather than to create an institutional dependence on aid.

Our set up the equivalent of a 'soup kitchen' in Baguio City area which feeds a group of children once a day with a nutritional meal. Our approach is basic, but we can see it as the simplest way of distributing aid to those we feel need it most.

The organisational costs for this simplistic approach to the problem are minimal. We keep organisational costs as low as possible which enables us to deliver as close to 100% of contributions as practically possible.

There is no provision for state benefits in the Philippines, and although the organisation institutions are on American lines, due to the effects of WWII it's still a country that has been left to its own devices since the majority of American involvement departed.

We have simple objectives for the charity, but if we can continue to provide even a few meals where it will be needed most, then it has fulfilled our expectations. We operate currently on a small scale and want to build up support to deliver more aid especially to areas such as Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
